Jennifer Kerhin, MBA, CMP, CEM, CEO
She has more than 25 years of experience working with association conventions and tradeshows. Before she founded SB Expos & Events in 2009, Kerhin was an in-house association executive. She has a certification in exhibition management (CEM), certification in meeting planning, (CMP), an MBA from the Johns Hopkins University, and substantial executive-level association experience.
Understanding that active involvement within associations is the key to success, Jennifer is a committed member and volunteer in IAEE, ASAE, PCMA, and MPI. She is often a speaker at ASAE’s Annual Meeting, IAEE’s ExpoExpo!, MPI’s Potomac Chapter, MASAE’s Annual Meeting, PCMA’s Capital Chapter and Cadmium’s User conference. As a member of the CEM faculty, she teaches courses on floorplan development, expo sales and operations, and strategic development.
Kerhin founded SB to support the mission of associations by creating non-dues revenue through event management.
