Why not use Cadmium’s templates and training videos?
We love Cadmium’s templates and training and encourage you to explore their options! This is a great place to start if you have the time and resources to customize your own event technology. Since that’s not always the case, we offer an alternative solution.
Why not have Cadmium Project Managers do the onboarding?
Cadmium PMs are incredible professionals and technology experts, but they are not meeting planners or tradeshow experts. They will help you complete the onboarding “missions” but won’t provide expertise or experience on how to customize Eventscribe to meet your association’s specific goals.
SB works in Cadmium with many clients who have very different needs. Our team can share best practices and ideas with you based on years of experience building and supporting associations’ Cadmium Eventscribe platforms.
How is your service different from Cadmium’s Tech Support?
Cadmium’s support team is there to help when something breaks. We’re here to make sure it doesn’t. Our services are proactive, not reactive — we guide decisions, implement best practices, and build systems that reduce questions from attendees and headaches for staff.
What happens after you set everything up?
You get to plan your event using the best event technology platform! Still need help? No worries. You can submit boomerangs directly into Cadmium’s system OR reach out to us for support.
What if my staff don’t use Eventscribe the way they should after the onboarding?
Great question! Release the hounds. (Just kidding. 😊) You can easily review their work directly in Cadmium—or ask SB to step in with an audit. Many clients use our audit services ahead of major milestones to make sure everything’s on track.
How do you work with our internal team?
Think of us as a temporary extension of your team. We’ll train your staff, coordinate across departments, and document processes so no one’s left guessing. We adapt to your team’s style and capacity — whether that means full ownership or just filling in the gaps.
What if I just need help with one part of the platform?
No problem. We offer a la carte and hourly services that can be as minimal or involved as you need. Whether it’s getting your speaker data right, configuring your exhibitor Harvester, or launching a last-minute app update — we’ve got you.
Can you help with other event technology platforms?
Sorry – no. We love Cadmium and choose to be experts in this platform.
